This pair of Stockholm based disco dancers are giving me serious aural pleasure! On their MySpace page they say they sound like, “Hip-pop-house through pink Italo shades”, there is not better way to describe this genius!


In our eyes and ears there is nothing better than great music and great artwork. When the two come together, we love it. We're liking the DW artwork Let’s hope they will be gracing a club night in London soon…

Eric Prydz vs Donna Giles “And I’m Telling Pjanoo”

I have to be honest, I never thought I’d be as addicted to an Eric Prydz record as I have been this week.

I’m sure the majority of us have heard the big ol' stabby Electro-House monster "Pjanoo" in it’s original instrumental form. Especially as there has been a number of remixes from the likes of Fred Falke, High Contrast and Patrick L since the beginning of the year, but mixing in Donna Giles screaming vocals of 1994s “and I’m telling you I’m not going” is a work of genius.

Currently available on 12” white label, though not online. I got my copy from Funky Monkey.

Not the most recent of releases, but without a doubt a 2008 classic!

MASSIVE shout out to Norman Jay MBE, for tearing it up last Sunday afternoon at the Big Chill Festival with this tune, absolutely incredible.
