KEEPING UP WITH THE JONES'S

We're big fans of Tobis Jones, his illustrations are dope and we like his typography. Jones has been designing flyers for some of the best club nights in London, including the legendary No Pain In Pop club nights and the forthcoming “Nail The Cross” festival, which will be hitting New Cross (London) on 27th September; the line up includes Benga and HervĂ©. Should be a treat.

We strongly recommend you check out his website.

A [PAPER]CUT ABOVE THE REST

We are pretty damn excited about this bit of news. The fantastical works of Rob Ryan will soon be available from his very own retail space (dubbed 'Ryantown') on Columbia Road.

Sadly he only plans to open on Sundays so you'll have to brave the claustrophobia inducing flower crowds that flock to E2, however he is opening at 8am.

Ryantown opens on Sunday 29th June @ 126 Columbia Road, E2 7RG

IFYOUCOULD.CO.UK

ifyoucould.co.uk have released their third set of prints from established designers/illustrators and they are quite something. Each month Will Hudson and Alex Bec select two talented visual artists to create a B2 sized print on the subject 'If you could do anything tomorrow what would it be?' This month it appears that Anthony Burrill wants to make pleasing Bad Art before heading off to the horizon whilst Siggi Eggertsson would like to turn himself into an Alsatian made out of triangles. The prints are available until the last day of March... We await April's installment with excitement.PFH Thompson
