An echoing voice drones a list of just recognisable brand names:

'Ellesse, Cerrutti, Sergio Tacchini, Lacoste, Fila, Kappa, Fiorucci'. A register of key labels worn by Casuals, the original fashionista football hooligans.

Mark Leckey's 'Fiorucci made me Hardcore' (1999) uses both found and original footage to take us from Northern Soul all-nighters to the raves of the late '80s dripping with ecstasy.

A fashion document and course in dance technique on one hand. On the other, a tale of youth's loss of innocence, of how we got where we are today.
